Driven by experience – preparing for the future
Capsize training is an important component for all maritime special forces. Following previous incidents where RIBs (Rigid Inflatable Boats) capsized, the relevant (special) units collaborated with the maritime team at OffTEC-Base to develop specialized training. This training aims to rescue team members who may become trapped under the boat or have sustain injuries during capsizing.
In theory and practice, participants work under guidance to quickly determine whether all comrades are present and unharmed.
We are specialized in maritime training for special forces and the sole provider of capsize training in Germany. With us, you have the opportunity to train in private and with your own equipment, as well as to test new gear. Throughout the training, we ensure medical care and professional storage of your operational equipment.
Training
- basic knowledge and analysis of past accidents
- best managing practice for capsize accidents
- drowning and hypothermia
- indoor capsize with a 9 meter deployment RIB
- different capsize scenarios/ difficulty levels
- debriefing and evaluation of each capsizing incident
Performance for Special Forces
- Exclusion of the public: Unauthorized acces prohibited throughout the training
- Training with your own operational equipment, including pole and ladder
- Secure storage of equipment during training
- Providing additional or complementary equipment
- Ensuring medical care
- Accommondation including meals during on-site training
- Helicopter landing possibility at the campus
