Maritime Training Centre
Worst case scenarios in safe environment. The training lab for your safe missions.
The Maritime Trainingcenter (MTC) is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies that create real maritime scenarios. The MTC features a 15 x 23 meter, 5,5 meter deep water besin with a wave system capable of generating waves over 2 meter high and in 4 different wave patterns.
The 13 meter high hall is equipped with a multi-storey gallery, an escape chute, a boat landing system, winches and 5+10 meter Evacuation Platform.
A Modular Egress Training Simulator (METS) allow us to train rescue operations from a crashed helicopter. Light and sound systems as well as windgenerators simulate various weather conditions, making the training realistic.
The newly added Bell UH-1D, specially modified for us, will be used for training in hoisting, rappelling and fast roping.
